Be Remembered By Your Just Today Risk In Future
As you
look back on your career and life to date, where
you do wish you would have been a little braver,
trusted in yourself more, and be less conscious of the chances of failure.
Often we know what it is, what we
want and what to do but we still don’t do it.
I guess the
reason is because we are in-mately risk averse and afraid of putting our
vulnerability on the line. We find it easier to stick with the status
quo, keep our mouths closed and our heads down rather than make a
change, take a chance, be bold, have confident and to be courageous to speak up
and engage in passionate conversations. When you’re willing to throw it
maybe in the line, that is when life takes a whole new dimension.
Unfortunately, many people fail to take risks
because of the following reasons:
We over-estimate the probability of something going wrong.
We exaggerate the consequences of what might happen if it
does go wrong.
We under estimate our ability to handle the consequences of
risk.
But fear regret more than failure. We fail
far more from timidity than we do from over daring. The vast majority of
successful people are remembered for the difference that they made in their
lifetime. And that difference required them to take risks and challenge the
status quo.
Watch from this YouTube
video here to understand how successful people are remembered. So how
do we overcome our tendency to play safe and identify which risks are worth
taking? Start by asking yourself these three questions: What would I do if I were being more courageous? …How will inaction cost me one year from now if I do
nothing?
…Where is my fear of failure causing me to
over-estimate the size of risk, under-estimate myself and holding me back from
taking risks that would serve me or my business?
Whatever answers that comes to
your mind, take notice! They are pointing you to a brighter future that
you can only create when you commit to taking bolder, more decisive and
courageous actions. I tell you here that what so ever your mind desire always go for it positively
Will there be risks involved?
Of course YES! But remember that you are wired to both overestimate the
size of them and to underestimate your ability to handle them. The truth
is, You are capable of more than you think only if you take a positive step
with a courageous action full of succeeding mindset.
